Helgoland is excited to present the fourth exhibition in the gallery’s 2026 curatorial program, featuring new work by Melbourne-based photographer Josh Robenstone. Drawn from photographs made during a journey through North Korea, the exhibition explores photography as a mediated act of looking. Rather than seeking unfiltered access, the work embraces the constraints of tourism and distance, considering how images are shaped by the conditions under which they are made.
